Yes. He just has to wait for his friends to dress as bounty hunters and servants and come thaw him. He’ll have temporary blindness at first, but it will go away as the plot demands. I saw it in a documentary once about a place far far away and a long time ago. If they could do that a long time ago, modern science should have no problem.
