Go in without reservations and you won't drive away the good people who have actual relationship goals. Opening yourself to the possibility of someone non-ideal is just part of the magical world of dating :)
Couples share their feelings all the time it all depends of how much they care to listen and help. Dating in general is rocky filled with a rollercoaster of emotions but once you feel comfortable enough and share what's on your mind then it all will settle in. When your partner listens or reacts to what they hear you'll be the judge at that point to say yay or nay.
