It's in a covert enough spot where you can put a rug over it and no one would know necessarily just by looking at it.

This looks like that thing in portal 2. The elevator shaft full of switches, that Wheatley warns you can only flip one of, and then the elevator goes down and it flips EVERY SINGLE SWITCH
