30k a year (or even 25k a year to make the 100k debt) is nowhere near the average tuition though. Most people going to those kind of schools are either super wealthy, or got lots of scholarships. Either way, money isnt a big issue. As to the other stuff, not really sure what you expect. Course its going to cost you to get a copy of your transcript, somebody has to take the time out of their day to do that. Meal plans, its for thousands of students. You think its easier to just charge em all 1 flat fee and make a bit of extra cash, or go back through each person and give refunds for what wasnt used? All that extra work is gonna get made up somewhere, such as increasing the meal price. You'd pretty much get nothing back
My senior class at college tried to force every graduating senior to pay a "class due" of $20.12 per person. When they asked me for it I laughed in their faces. Still haven't paid it
