The 10am thing isn't really right. Teenage brains don't "work" at a specific time, rather we function better with around 9-10 hours of sleep, whereas adults need 8-9.
only kinda sorta accurate. The thing is Teenagers don't get tired at the same time adults do. Teenagers staying up late isn't just because "rebellious teenagers are rebellious", but because their melatonin is actually released later. They may or may not need more sleep than adults, but the fact is they go to bed later, so even if they only need to same amount of sleep, they have to wake up later.

For the doctors and schools one, our mid. school starts at 8 while the high school starts at 7. Then of course you have elementary schoolers who get up at 5 and go to school at 9:30
