Wow! More Oncers! I'm really excited for the new direction the writers are taking for the next season. I really hope the focus a bit more on the development of the characters like Snow and Charming, and possibly Henry.

"So..." My room had iced over in a layer of silence. The tension was tangible. I held 'The Winter Sun' in my grasp, trying in vain to hold onto a little piece of the real girl here. Not the one sitting up straight in her bedroom, I was the girl eating an entire bag of chips in her sweatpants. I was not the girl who appreciated having to suddenly dress up and straighten her hair. The band members loitered around my room like a group of high-schoolers.
I suddenly felt very hungry.

I felt my grip tighten under the fragile page of the book I was reading.
Inwardly, I chided myself. I shouldn't be nearly ripping out the pages of a library book.

Instead of focusing on the ever ticking countdown, I turned my attention to the fast-moving plot of 'The Winter Sun' a fantasy novel. The starch words soon blocked out the relentless ticking.
"Come quickly! You have to see this!" My mother ran onto the porch, disturbing my book.
"Yes mom? What do I need to see?" I asked.
"A celebrity countdown! It could be yours, sweetie,"My mother cooed.
"Mom," I began. "My clock has to have another hour on it, at the very least. And I can't possibly have a celebrity as a soulmate, Mom. Let's be real."
"But it's from that band you like, dear."
That definitely raised the stakes.
