As a vegetarian myself, these drive me crazy. I have my own reasons and beliefs, but other people have their own reasons and beliefs as well, and other vegetarians and vegans should be respecting that. It's okay to say something about the benefits of a vegan or vegetarian diet, but chastising other people and making them feel guilty about something that is only natural is wrong.

All music taste is different 35 comments

I think that you can share your opinion about a musician's music, or what they've been up to, because as a celebrity, they've subjected themselves to public opinion. Maybe people shouldn't say "all justin bieber fans are stupid" or things like that because it chastises the fans, not the star. But if someone is saying their honest opinion about a celebrity, and not being a complete ass about it, they shouldn't be attacked for their opinion.

They keep the Plague out... 17 comments

Note: I am from the Seattle area.
Okay, so what I found was that there are lower numbers of mosquitos in Western Washington despite the amount of lakes and water around here in the nice summers. Low humidity and cool weather during the year apparently makes a poor breeding ground for mosquitos. There are other reasons as well, but I intend to keep this short. In Europe, you'll also find less mosquitos than most parts of America and Australia. There is a strong correlation between window screens and number of mosquitos.
Conclusion: The more mosquitos found in an area, the more frequent window screens are.

That seems strange to me, not a lot of people I know have screens in their windows. And I'm from America. Maybe it has to do with regions?

Dangerous selfie 23 comments

The study from three business schools in Europe confirms that selfies are the worst. In a paper hilariously titled "Tagger's Delight? Disclosure and liking behaviour in Facebook: the effects of sharing photographs amongst multiple known social circles" four professors claim that people who post more selfies have shallow relationships with people. You know, real, live people. With heartbeats! Increased frequency of sharing photographs of the self, regardless of the type of target sharing the photographs, is related to a decrease in intimacy," explains the report. - See more at: http://dailylounge.com/the-daily/entry/science-confirms-that-selfies-are-the-worst#sthash.zzPJ1Fnj.dpuf
