I’m the opposite; I grew up poor but was fortunate enough to eat from the garden that my Nana and my mother (at separate places, to clarify) raised along with my help.
So, I grew up loving the taste and texture of fresh fruits and vegetables. (Except for many squashes. I don't know why I couldn't bring myself to like them.) I am okay with ketchup but, not artificial flavors in drinks, candies, and/ or medicine.
And, you’re right, there are tons of people with similar tastes to yours.

This is literally me. Flesh melting hot temperature and then to freezing cold temperature for ten to fifteen seconds.

Poor raisins. It has been shrunken, dried, and aged. Although they have been tenderly taken care at a senior center. You monsters won't let it die and disappear in peace as a proud race of juicy grapes. (:P)

Or, you can treat yourself to dark chocolate a bit more often or eat more of nuts, avocados, bananas, whole grain, and leafy greens for your magnesium fix.
