I was always under the impression that most adopted kids were told at a reasonably young age that they were adopted to avoid emotional problems in adolescence. I don't see why parents would withhold that information from the kid, who I assume is in high school and thus an adolescent...?

Well, firstly, I agree. All the guys my age are always drooling over the girls with the crap ton of makeup and curled hair and everything and yeah, it really sucks. Secondly, I'm not some stuck up guy, just some nerdy chick who thinks girls don't need lots and lots and lots of makeup. Just a little... I'm not saying that people need to ditch makeup completely but I don't want them to cover up so many features that make them who they are.

Honestly?! You either had a really good or a really bad gr.8 class, cause I had about 1-3 hours of homework in gr.8, which I think is average...?
