Given your numbers I still choose to vaccinate: my son got whooping cough (very young, before he received his vaccination) and while it did not kill him it did make him extremely sick and if it had gone untreated it could have left him permanently brain damaged - he ran a fever over 105.

It's not actually that simple (or right as it is written). The first wave is right, the second is actually the first formula plus the second, the third is the sum of the first three, etc. It approaches a square wave as you add more harmonics (higher frequencies that are multiples of the first - the 3@, 5@, 7@).

And I think part of the problem is that the system and our indoctrination made it important enough to you and your father to come in and argue for your 'A' rather than spend that time actually doing something important like learning something or playing.
