When teachers should be the students 36 comments

The teacher would be correct under the assumption that the two pizzas are the same area, but the student proposed that they were different sizes (Reasonability). For example, 4/6 of 15 (10) is more than 5/6 of 6 (5). The kid was right, the teacher wasn't.

The question was about reasonableness. The question said the 4/6 (Marty) ate more than the 5/6, so the kid was basically right.

I may be wrong, but I think it's actually a Corgi/Australian Shepherd breed. The brown spots and the pattern give it away for me.

The word "the" already has an exposed 'e', meaning it would show an 'e' for the last word as well.

Trudeau isn't the best, but he definitely isn't the worst. May I kindly ask why you disagree with him, garlog?

@title just going to quickly point out that it's a prime minister up here in Canada, not a president. But in all seriousness, I love his socks.

Does it take nine months? 8 comments

Hm, that's not really a question you can properly answer. With a quick google search, I found out that horses are usually pregnant for 11-12 months before giving birth, but considering that he's clearly not a horse, we don't know if it'll follow this. In the real world, it's not possible for something to reproduce with another species (without special scientist shenanigans), so we don't know exactly how the baby will form. Would it take 9 months, assuming Loki's little swimmies are Human based? Or would it take 11-12 months, since it's forming inside a horse? Would the fact that it's forming into a horse-like animal cause it take longer, since it's significantly larger? I'm not exactly interested enough in this to delve into fetal growing patterns and approximate it, but there's some food for thought.

It's a stock photo, and stock photos are hilarious so people tend to seek them out to make memes due to the sheer stupidity of them (Ie: Harold). How it became so large; who knows? It's the internet.

My Nephew also has light vitiligo, and I find the condition actually kind of interesting. It takes nothing away and nobody has ever cared that he has some weird spots.

Actual science here, the stuff has such a strong connection that it's able to pull itself that distance. The bonds between molecules are so tightly held that it won't break in this scenario like water molecules. So, it just goes down out of the beaker like the spoon guy did and pulls the rest of it with it, never breaking.

I believe that with the way most people hold controllers it would make it so that they don't get bothered by it. It still would be inconvenient but could /work/.

Most toasters don't follow this. Some do that are really expensive, but the average toaster doesn't.

Same! I have the majority of the older Lego games completed 100% with my Mom, most of them multiple times! We've beaten a total of 12 of them 100% (And around 20 100% save files), 2 of them just the story, and Lego Dimensions, eh, we both hated it and never beat it. If you haven't played them when you were a kid, I do pity you, those were absolutely legendary.
