surprisingly easily! Have accidentally done that myself and gone back to the store to say "hey, bought these but you didn't charge me for this, so here..". And "yes" my partner calls me a square-bear and says I should join the police XD!!

Positive stereotypes can be just as harmful as negative stereotypes though. Everyone should just be happy with people as they are = individuals.
