People are still protesting because the three cops that got arrested aren’t going to sto the overall problem. Unfortunately, the criminal justice system punished the good cops and lifts up the bad because they’re “brothers in blue”. No one wants to arrest their friend, but they’ll push down whoever tries to stand up to their injustices. It’s a systematic issue that needs to be dealt with, and three bad cops aren’t going to fix that. It’s a band aid over a missing limb

Because there are a handful of shit protesters doesn’t mean the entire movement is compromised. That’s like saying all cops are bad because a handful of them kill people unwarranted. (Which I support the actual protestors, but I also support the cops who don’t abuse their power). Keep in mind though that graffiti can be washed off, lives can’t be brought back. I’m not saying they’re not in the wrong for tagging important monuments and buildings, but cops abusing their power to kill people and get away with it, and jackasses spray painting stuff aren’t comparable.
