By current grammar rules the She would refer to that last object, the daughter. Otherwise would be a dangling modifier. But I am no English major, so I may be wrong.

Yeah...No. The last text that is half covered admits that he kill Epstein, which the real Bill would never admit to doing. Admit to -- No, Do -- Well......

It is referring to vinyl records. Back in the day the best sounds came from vinyl records, and they were round. Basically it is saying you are as useless as a square record.

The 10% dip is a fallacy, it never once closed with a 10% dip and overall during the four weeks after the video came out July-9-2009 it nearly doubled in price: https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/UAL/history?period1=1246773600&period2=1249884000&interval=1d&filter=history&frequency=1d
Also the 3000 offered went to a charity that was partially owned by United.

It can't build itself in 10 minutes, It can set itself up in 10 minutes. It would take months at least to build, if not years

Even in 1912 they were aware of climate change! 8 comments

It was more than one article, I was taught this in my science class at the time. Note I am not denying climate change, just that science's "truths" change as new discoveries are found. I was taught that the carbon would cause less sunlight entering the lower atmosphere and would cause an ice age. so it was more than one article.

Then in the 70's they thought it would cause an ice age.

They boiled the water in the glass, replacing the air with steam. Then put the can on top making a seal. As the water cooled and the water vapor returned to liquid a vacuum was created and the can was literally pushed into the glass container by the atmospheric pressure.

Why are parents like this 21 comments

No body said it was easy, do the work, your parents are. If you are not paying rent to your parents then they own the house it is theirs, not yours. If it is that important to you to live as you want you will find a way. Work two jobs, live in an apartment with friends/roommates to split the cost. It is what we had to do. I worked two jobs and had roommates so I could get out of my parents house. It is called sacrifice. As I said there is no such thing as free rent, in either manner the child will need to sacrifice. whether it is to obey the rules of their parent's house, or work more than they would like. It is possible, My three older children did it without my help. They are all living in different qualities of apartments depending on where they choose to divide their time between work and play.

If you don't like it you are free to move out. Until then...there is no such thing as free rent.

The problem is morals are arbitrary based on the belief systems that created the initial laws. In the US and many other countries it is illegal and in general believed to be contrary to moral living to wed a 12-14 year old. But in other countries it is considered okay and even expected. Why? because those laws were initially based in religious beliefs and have become the "moral" center of the people. Most western morals come from the christian faith. As society grows these morals are shifting, based on the beliefs of others, whether different religious beliefs or the belief that this is okay but the other is not. Who is to say that my beliefs are wrong and yours are not, that my moral guide book is wrong and your is not? We all have opinions about what is right and just and moral and they are different and that is okay. What is not okay is for me to force you to live by my morals or for you to force me to live by yours if those actions do not affect the others rights or liberty

All laws are based in some sort of belief system. The problem comes when belief systems clash. Therefore we have methods and rules to find the common ground of those beliefs. But to say no law should be based on religion is too broad a statement.
