I ask this question of many people, because I make it a sort of game with myself to guess. I am particularly good at guessing eastern and northern europe.

They cheat in quidditch. None stayed for the final battle. The best of them were Regulus Black (pureblood supremacist), Horace Slughorn (collected kids for benefits of their wealth), and Severus Snape (says always all you want but he was an asshole to Neville). It is clear that J.K. Rowling wanted them to be "the bad guys". I test Slytherin 25% of the time, and I know this to be true. It has a bad reputation. Imagine someone seeing Slytherin on your resumé. Your chances at landing a job are significantly lower. "There's not a single witch or wizard who went bad who wasn't in Slytherin. "

I laugh whenever someone refers to America as "she". But only in English.

I didn't really like the sorting hat. By putting them in Slytherin, they were set up for failure.
