My family is a bunch of fossil hunters and two of my mom's favorite fossils are whale vertebrae and a megalodon tooth. She bought both of them from a toothless dude in the middle of nowhere who was just selling fossils out of his trunk.

I almost knocked over a rack of glass test tubes, but time kinda slowed down and I caught them. But thanks to this post, my dreams of having super speed are ruined
