I'm Spanish, from Spain, in Europe.
Not South American, Central American or a Mexican.

You lose your name when your brother has a child, you can only keep it if you have no brothers or sisters

I agree that there needs to be a legal referendum, they can't get unilateral independence like they want now. That's just a destruction of all democratic values

It's illegal because in Spain, like in most countries, any referendums have to be passed by the central government, and the one in Catalonia wasn't. So they could vote, but it meant absolutely nothing. I am against the police brutality that occurred though.
What I meant is that during the Tuesday strike in Catalonia, they didn't act against their right to protest. They only did it on Sunday, and that was enough

Guest, the police were there so that the traffic between Spain and France could flow, not to stop people from having their democratic values taken. There were a lot of protests during Tuesday, but there were no cases of police brutality, they had their right to protest. What was different during the Sunday was that the referéndum was illegal and the national police was only supposed to act if the autonomical police didn't do anything, which happened, and they had to go into violence in order to try to stop it. I am not in favour of what the police did, but the case goes all the way up the government, who told them to do that.

A fuckton of roads where closed by independentists during Tuesday, so it was logical they tried to open the road. They even set fire to one of the barricades that stopped a road
