Shoulder to shoulder, some wearing masks, some not, some only partially wearing their masks, Some only wearing them until they get tired of wearing it or forgetting to readjust it, most everywhere else didn't actively encourage riots and protests while the pandemic was going on.

Your "natural" expected lifespan is much shorter than you give it credit for. If it were up to nature, we'd be dead feeding something bigger than us or dying of an accident that today's society could easily heal of us. Living to 60+ is actually quite the feat in the perspective of the past, recent and far.

Protestors of all stripes and reasons crowd into public spaces, streets, sidewalks, and boulevards. Everyone thinks a mask alone will save them. Great joke, right?

Can't honestly recall a specific person who told me that, no offense taken. It does sound edgy as all hell.

For some who can think, yeah. but most people prefer to parrot what was spoken to them than examine exactly what they were told.

Well, as paradoxical as it sounds, most people don't actually have their own opinion, they just have someone else's.

Not defending pro-life, just pointing out hypocrisy and projection are fairly common and intertwined nowadays.

And on another occasion I was sure I had caught a snapper myself, but never saw it since it literally pulled the line taught in 3 seconds of the hook catching, and snapped it after nearly snapping the rod itself. Whatever it was, turtle, or fish, it was heavy and strong.

Didn't catch it, but in the reservoir where people can go fishing and catch what they want within the rules, a guy fished up this HUGE alligator snapping turtle. It could fit a 5 year old's head in it's jaws, and that was just the head. And that was the only thing you could see clearly besides the claws that scrabbled at the rocks it was dragged up to. Someone from the reservoir, (think sorta like a park ranger) came up to see what was the commotion and noted that they usually didn't get to be that big, since they get killed before they reach that size. It eventually snapped the line after 15 minutes of trying to get away, and I made sure to keep my feet out of the water from then on.

African, Indian, Persian, Mongolian, Vikings, Cave-men, Posh, Dandy, just a taste of the flavors any fantasy race can be inspired from in a story.

And then it turned out governors and leading elected officials had effectively killed grandma and grandma anyways by placing recovering Covid patients into nursing homes. Fucking silent as the graves they were put in reporting and clamoring on that bit of news eh? Remember the jokes about how covid would back off during the BLM protests? How it was "woke'? Turns out, the media thinks so by reporting a fucking ridiculous study about how it may have prevented spread and infection by terrifying people into staying inside their houses while volatile protests occasionally turn into riots! Never mind the fools standing shoulder to shoulder chanting, screaming, breathing really heavily into masks that don't work unless you stand 6 feet away from each other, and occasionally letting them slip so you can speak and be heard clearly. Liar's love having selective memory. It makes lying so much easier if reality is whatever you bend it to be so your warped perception of it can actually exist.

And not replying to anyone in particular, but just further elucidating on the media being a bunch of unscrupulous liars, they yapped and yapped about people wanting the lockdowns eased or lifted so they could return to their jobs since they didn't want to stay on unemployment, shrilly protesting about how it would spread the plague currently plaguing and HAPPILY cheered when governors ordered and demanded that POLICE enforce people stay at home and unconstitutionally force a peaceful protest to disband. And when the other politcal side of things (incorrectly) opined that maybe the flu was just going to kill and infect people anyways and gramma and gramps were just gonna have to go for the sake of the economy the other side had a riot standing on the high ground of the opposing, correct moral opinion, laughing at the aburdity of whoever could have such a twisted thought, not I, oh definitely not I!

I might sound like a codger and trumptard for saying this, but I blame in part the media for the debacle of the 2016-2020. It was funny as fuck watching media blatantly lie and claim they were the last bastion of truth and honor at the start, (Especially Election Day 2016) but it got depressing seeing that they fully knew their audience's tastes and preferences for debacle, and could lie to them as long as that's what they unconsciously wanted. No matter how many times objective reality knocks on the door, or slaps them in the face, the narrative is never challenged or shaken no matter what. Little lies heaped on a larger one, truth spun and twisted to suit certain angles and beliefs, constant cuts of derision, character assassination and willfully ignorant about the role they play as masterful liars. Everybody lies, but this willingness to lie and believe it has gone on for so long, and for what? Mainstream news ain't truth, it's just propagandized entertainment.
