I find If I pick up the phone and text, with no expectation of a response, I feel better. And I keep texting, every time I think of them, whether they text me back or not. And I feel better. Maybe they don't have time to answer. Maybe they don't care. Doesn't matter. I feel better knowing that they know I'm thinking of them. Sometimes they text back right away. Sometimes it takes months of texting to get a response. They apologize to me a lot. I tell them it's ok, don't apologize, just letting them know I care makes me feel better. Sometimes they start to feel better, too. Sometimes we get closer, sometimes it stays the same, but always, I feel better. I used to put the phone down. Now, I pick it up.

Maybe they figured out that pranking strangers could be dangerous?? I wouldn't shoot you right away but jump out at me, in the dark, in a clown suit? I'd definitely draw.

Haha, this bullshit. We don't care about saving the planet, we care about saving ourselves. I'm pretty sure the planet can take care of itself, I just hope I'm not around when it decides that it's sick of our shit ;)

Was referencing title which states, "Brits know that arrays start at zero." And if you want to call it "ground floor," fair enough, but it's still the first floor. The story above the "ground floor" is the second story or second floor.

I saw a documentary on commercials that said milk doesn't photograph well. It said almost all milk in cereal commercials/pictures is white glue, and ice cream is shortening. But I still think God isn't happy with Kathy ;)

Definition of zero: "In a positional number system, a place indicator meaning "no units of this multiple."" Definition of floor: "the lower surface of a room, on which one may walk." To have a 0 floor makes 0 sense.

Flip side: In my friends sorority the older girls "required" the younger ones to "always" have their preferred personal items on hand; for years my friend carried cigarettes and stuff around, "just in case."
