Translation: "(Only) few of us had the pleasure of piloting this ship." That seems like an old sewing machine and I can only guess that some kids used to pretend it was a spaceship or something.

As a Capricorn, I fully support this. From now on, he can be an honourary Scorpio.

But it's not just shy or anxious. I find it very respectful and it can be done with a lot of confidence. Anyway, major turn on here, but I've always been a sucker for a gentleman :D

...I actually think it's attractive when a guy asks if he can kiss you... maybe it's just me?

Tricking the audience into thinking you're reading 'because it's fun' when you're actually posting pictures of yourself 'reading' on Tumblr. @ girl in the second panel

'Brute' is 'Brutus' but in the vocative case in Latin. His name was Brutus even in Latin but if you were talking to him, you'd say Brute instead. :)

Well, that's my input for the year. I apologise for the added discomfort on my part. You two do your thing at your own rhythm. I'm crawling back into the funsubstance darkness now. I'll probably comment again in a few years.

@smitty @blushing_lurker I have a bad habit of not commenting for years but I'm always scrolling around. I saw this ship and I had to get on board. Smitty is an endearing gentleman and blushy is endearingly adorable and sweet. Can't help it, I'm afraid. Full steam ahead to Shipland! Don't be embarrassed, Blushy!

@smitty no wonder you have a certain blushing lurker lurking around you... As an old-fashioned girl, I approve of your comment.

Plus, they put conditionals and imperatives at the bottom of the Spanish. Things like would do, should do, let's do... There's a lot more behind this.

You can say what you like, but the fact is he made it even less likely than what it was. You can call it arrogance if you like but it was intelligence. I'd like to see anyone else not only survive the fiercest pirates that existed unharmed, but scare them enough into listening to their poetry and keeping quiet while he slept. He was intelligent in his tactics.

That way they were better guaranteed to keep him alive, they had more than double the reason to.

Well, he didn't exactly get mad, he laughed because the pirates didn't know how persecuted he was in Rome and how much money they could get from him. It was actually a tactic
