I had a fall at the first of the year (March) and my ankle bruised that slowly. Straight line up the outside of my ankle.
Related to that, I was told it was a sprain. Went to the ortho clinic recently and found out it is a torn tendon. So... yeah. That’s fun.

She’s very calm, it’s just the species stresses SUPER easy, that’s why not many are kept in captivity. They are burrowers (that’s why her face is shaped like that, to help her push and glide through the dirt). Plus they need high humidity. So it’s best to leave them alone most of the time.

Eh. As long as the parents understand they’ll likely be caring for it, I don’t see too much problem w/ it. But it can also see the issue with it.

Sure, biting the heart is a bit odd, but there’s nothing WRONG with it. Where I live you take blood from the bullet wound and smear it on your cheeks when you kill your first deer. It’s tradition.
