Honestly it’s not even that weird. That’s probably the most vulnerable place in the entire house. Loud sound covering many of your forewarnings, naked and exposed entirely, door is most likely closed and there likely isn’t any windows, the sound of the shower means they know exactly where you instantly upon entering the house.
If you don’t have a means of defense in the bathroom you likely would be in a situation where there are intruders between you and your means of defense.

There's also the fact that the majority of people aren't educated in formal logic, and as such will have a much harder time identifying your run of the mill cult tactic logically fallacies and incorrectly assigned burdens of proof, resulting in people flustering and trying to argue against unfalsifiable claims or trying to formulate arguements against unsupported claims with no actual substance to argue against.

The issue with specifically this kind of thing is the same issue as with the ambush political "influencers" that go into the streets and try to get people to debate them. They give themselves however long they need to prep and think up responses to any possible argument they can conceive and mentally prepare themselves for a debate and all of their opponents have none of that luxury.
At least with the "change my mind" guy its an unintrusive passive invitation to what he describes as "not a debate but a conversation." with some of these folk they go up to random people and stick a microphone in their face and immediately start quizzing them on shit and then try to intellectually bombard their no prep on the spot didn't know the debate was even going to happen until it was already going thoughts.
The people this post is talking about probably fit in there somewhere between the two, leaning slightly more on the invitation side but without the unintrusive or passive parts.

honestly both the context of it being a fairly plain rock and the word "unassuming" being used that sounds more like she's telling the man he looks "normal, average, etc" rather than telling him he's ugly.

Side note: thinking about it getting hit in the head by a baseball bat seems to be a lot more common than it should be. I realized after posting this comment that i have not 1, not 2, but 3 friends from different regions of the world that have been hit in the head by some equivalent to a baseball bat by either a girlfriend or an ex.

One of my friends had a very poor choice in women in his younger years. Saying the majority of his Exs were crazy would be generally correct. Things that have happened because of his poor ability to pre-discern the crazy include: getting hit in the head with a bat, attempting to become pregnant during sex by breaking the condom so he could be hers forever, stalking him online after they broke up potentially still to this day because we can't actually know if she stopped or just wised up her tactics. Each of these being from a different of his exes from his youth. Nowadays he's SEEMS more careful. Im guessing having a head injury that could have been fatal if he had been unlucky was the hint he needed to be more careful with who he let's his initial feelings guide him towards.

saying nobody is forcing anyone to work a job that isn't paying them enough is like saying no one is forcing you to breath, the system as a whole is forcing it, the way things currently are are forcing it. For "the poor" they have effectively 2 choices
1. starve
2. work a job that pays them so little they still skip meals to make rent.
Not only that, in the modern day an entry level job pays proportionately less buying power than it did even 20 years ago. We raised the minimum wage in 2009 and inflation to date has made that 7 dollars an hour worth LESS than the 5.85 minimum wage was in 2007.
Not only that that, modern poor have to deal with an issue that past generations of poor people didn't, retirement age people competing for entry level jobs because they feel bored/unfulfilled but don't need the money. While this sorta thing did happen in the past, it wasn't wide spread for a mix of reasons. Usually this kind of competition was between middle class joe and man who won't retire.

They can’t delete it but they can place it under suspension pending termination until the review is over, making it unviewable by the public and locked away from you. Also just don’t be on Facebook, don’t give them your time or data.

a much better "retort" to this would be the fact that anywhere from twice to 3 times as many women died during childbirth during pre-modern times as well as infants were relatively smaller at birth, meaning the experience as a whole was slightly less painful but also more deadly.

i mean, he's not SUPER wrong on some of that. Disney's level of control over land they own in some places is fucking insane and they've consistently bribed politicians to extend copyright duration every time something they've ever used is about to go out of copyright.

take note of the leg shape, the legs on the animal in the meme go forward after being relatively straight, thats indicative of a hedgehog. A chihauhau's legs would go backward after being relatively straight. A chihauhau's legs should also be a lot longer relative to the body than this.

There are cards vaguely based on the Greek gods. There was a set of fairy cards that interacted with counter trap cards.
Voltanis the Adjudicator is inspired by Zeus and Layard the Liberator that’s inspired by chronos.
Also you mentioned there are cards that are associated with Saturn and Jupiter, one of the sets that seems like that are the agent cards however I would personally say they are also meant to be directly aligned to the gods because the one aligned to Pluto references hades directly. It’s called “The Executor of Hades - Pluto,” as in the “leader of the underworld, pluto,” which would indicate to me that “The Agent of Judgment - Saturn” and “The Agent of Miracles - Jupiter” would also be valid choices here

There is a decent amount of people that prefer Indian over any of the other blanket terms. There’s a couple year old cgp grey video that talks about it “Indian or Native American? [reservatjons, part 0]”
At least in 2019, it was nearly universal, not entirely but nearly, that on reservations they identified as Indians secondary to their tribe over any other blanket term.
My tribe specifically is one of the reasons it’s “nearly.” My preferences are heavily influenced by growing up within the tribe and the majority of people I’ve had personal experience with in my tribe will refer to themselves by tribe first, native second, and identify with the term native more than Indian.
