Anime is fucked up when it comes to objectification. When they do live action they take out 90% of the creeper shit b/c the shows would get banned (could you imagine a live action show where the love interest fell on the protagonist pussy first into his mouth and he tried to talk for 5 minutes? Source: The Seven Deadly Sins). That's not to say I don't like anime (I do, a lot) but I'm able to be objected about how fucked up it would be if it was real people.

We could do 5 years of study to make absolutely sure there are no unintended side effects. And if the disease allows that kind of time table it's preferred. The problem is the longer a virus is around the higher the chance it will mutate to become immune to your vaccine (then you have to start over). So the cycle would never end if you have a strict long term research policy. The good thing is the odds of this having a massively detrimental side effect is low (people need to stop watching I Am Legend as a historical documentary) and the benefits are high (preventable serious illness/death).

It's my experience that most "evil" people rationalize it so they don't think they are doing anything wrong or "no one is getting hurt" or it's okay b/c this or that. I've known quite a few criminals in my time and very very few thought what they did was immoral.
