@aviva I need brain bleach instead.
Yeah, I'm not good with people, much less kids, hence I switch over to being professional instead.
I honestly don't know how to deal with people if I'm not being overly familiar / overly snappy / overly professional. When I'm in a bad mood, I tend to switch to cold business, or a total hurtful passive aggressive bitch. I'm still trying to learn how to control it.
@shikharizard Uh... Continue the licking of the legs I guess?

Pets are often treated better than children, not scolded for being themselves, and someone is happy to take on someone else's pet, as opposed to children.

Sorry I took so long to reply, haven't really had time to sit down and properly reply yet.
,
@shikharizard thank you very much, it means a lot to me. I didn't really expect any reaction, however I appreciate it immensely. I've screenshotted everyone's replys and I'm keeping it to reread when I need it.
I try to not be the miserable mopey one, and normally I try to keep the sads away, sads spreads more sads, but happys spread happys :-3. I just really needed to talk about it, and it helped doing so. Thank you once again.
,
@xvarnah I see, I will follow so and listen to it. Thanks for your support too, it means a lot to me. I enjoy being around you guys.
,
@bethorien thank you Beeeth *hugs*
,
@aviva thank you for taking the time to respond as well, and sharing your perspective. I appreciate being appreciated, and will gladly continue on your adventures if you'd have me :-3. Not the tickles! *cheers up instantly*

@shikharizard and @aviva, thanks for sharing, it's nice to learn more about you. I'm sorry for what happened in your pasts, yet I'm glad for the person it made you (that we know), if that makes sense. Your viewpoints are quite positive considering your pasts, and it gives me hope that although things are shitty, the way we tackle it can hugely impact the effect it has on us.

Not me, that's why they are up for adoption :,-) chucking my responsibilities like a responsible catto.
,
I agree. You encourage the behaviour if you are just giving in to their unimportant fussy demands to keep them quiet. Of course, one should investigate whether the reasoning is legitimate, and provide an alternative suggestion to their demand if possible, but otherwise I would tell them, "look, this is unnecessary and I'm not going to pay attention to you until you stop your nonsense. If you have a real problem, I would be happy to help you."

Shame man.
For one survey - we learnt how to set up surveys and process anwers - we asked students' views on people with mental disorders using (1) a graded scale and (2) open-ended questions.
One person's response to the open-ended question was something along the lines of "fuck this survey" - note that it was voluntary and they could quit midway - they wrote that instead.
A week later we cut out the verbal answers to broadly group the opinions (good, neutral, hostile, irrelevant) and calculate these stats vs the graded survey. When we got this ass and two other rude butts in the pile, we promptly labelled them "sucky butts" meaning to relabel them for presentation.
We grouped our quotes under the headings, to select the most representative quote per group - and the lecturer walked by. Since the headings were written in large pink highlighter, they are difficult to miss. He canned himself, told us to keep it for the "dangers of open questions and idiots" discussion, and walked on.

I'd happily be both South African and Canadian. I think my two most used words are "Poes" and "Sorry".
