I'm glad you're back !
I'm fine and you ? Where have you been ?
thedarkknightess · 7 years ago
I really missed you guys!
I had to take my last exams, the "tough" ones, i.e. Internal Medicine and Surgery... I had to study S O H A R D hard and I was sure I couldn't make it, because my professors scare me to death. On the plus side, I moved in with my two best friends (we are a hopeless mess) and we adopted a stray dog, who is called Skywalker, and a turtle (Minerva) who was about to be abandoned by our neighbors.
How about you??? Have you been doing anything interesting? Any good trips/books/shows/etc?

You passed the exams ?
My life has been shit for but meh lol
I'm watching Girlboss on Netflix, this is actually really good
thedarkknightess · 7 years ago
Rwby, is your WONDERFUL dog staying at your dad's? He looks like a great adventurer <3
Do you usually have fun with your dad? Maybe this week you were both tired?
Yuki, what's wrong? Anything you want to share with us? Anyway don't worry, because the best is yet to come, you deserve it!
YES, even though I thought I was doomed, a miracle occurred and I passed those exams, so now I'm working day and night for my thesis. Aaand then the nightmare should be over... for a while, at least! :D
I'm still fangirling about New Girl's finale, but Girlboss and 13 reasons why are definitely my next watch :)

@thedarkknightess NBME's I assume? What percentile did you get?
creativedragonbaby · 7 years ago
Hello. I am new. Sup?
thedarkknightess · 7 years ago
@rwby_rose next time will be alright :) Btw, I listened to SPG recently and I liked them so much!
@sm19 I so wish it was NBME!!!!! But we have a different University management in Italy (anyway I'd like to take USMLE in the future): Medicine&Surgery is a 6-year course which provides you general medical knowledge, but after graduation (and after being registered) you have to choose a specialty (a multiple-year residency). I'm at the end of the 6-year course and then I hope I can get into Pediatrics.
@yukihaki I feel you! I met what I thought was a wonderful and honest guy, but after dating for four months I found out he had a f*cking f i a n c é e. UGH! Anyway decision = risk! So - even though you're a bit sad now - you're learning through your mistakes and you're being brave... and that's what matters. Don't surrender, you're great! And the Right One will show up in no time.
@creativedragonbaby Hello dear! I remember you, though. Are you doing anything funny today?

It's not about a girl.
On that side tho, I'm just not sure what's going on
thedarkknightess · 7 years ago
Of course! There are so many more life issues (family, work, health) and I'm sorry I was so shallow to forget about them. :( But what do you mean? Is your S.O. confusing you?

Ahah, it's alright
I don't wanna get too much into details but let's say I'm waiting on her, I'm waiting for an answer that could turn my life around
thedarkknightess · 7 years ago

Thank you lol
How are things for you ?
thedarkknightess · 7 years ago
Family: so so (grandma is sick)
Work: cool (I'm a weekend barista and I LOVE it)
Health: fine
Love life: hopeless/messy (big age gap, I don't really know what to do...)
deleted · 7 years ago
I hope your grandma will get better.
And that sucks, how big is the gap ? If you don't mind me asking
thedarkknightess · 7 years ago
Thank you so much, let's hope for the best <3
No problem! 22 years (he's the BFF of my BFF's dad).

Oh yeah, that's a tough situation
sm19 · 7 years ago
@thedarkknightess In Italy do you still have to 'match' to Peds wherever hospital you choose? My BF is in medicine and in his third year doing a surgery rotation. You do a couple weeks of a specialty then have an exam. In Canada, they don't care about the NBME but all the university wants is for them to get past the 10th percentile. How does the six years work? Here, you get your bachelors degree (3-4 years) then medical school here its 4 (first two classroom, second two on the wards learning) and then you do your residency.
