Have you changed your actual charging chord? It's very unlikely to be your actual computer

Three different chargers. One that came with the laptop, another that the store gave as a replacement, and another that was given back with the laptop. All have the same result. The laptop is plugged in, but not charging. I mean as in the charger will keep the laptop on but never charge the battery. I've tried changing the batter as well.

sounds to me that you need a new laptop

Sounds to me like you were robbed. They swapped your HDD. Replace the charger and see if it's not the cord

As stated I have tried three different chargers and two different batteries - the one it came with and another bought.

If you are referring to the fact that the place I sent it away to robbed me then I can assure you that I'm ~70% sure that is not the case as the place I sent it away to was known as Aaron's - a fairly popular computer store in the south.

Well I see no reason to why the memory was wiped. The way I see it was you went in because it wouldn't charge and you go it back with an erased computer.
Did they tell you something was wrong and for the reason the wipe? Because if not they might of switched HDD

When we asked the store they tried to say that it was a software corruption. I'm not techy enough to know exactly what that means - I'm more of a external software guy - but I believe such a thing would have been fixed by the multiple total resets I did on the PC.

Makes sense now. You're probably off with a new computer. Or make your own with replaceable parts

It may be the charging port is loose. open it up and see if it wiggles around, its actually really easy to snap back into it's place
