So I got distracted by one of those friggin Japanese ads where this guy was dressed up as a monkey it was fukin hilarious but when I turned around my Study Group had gone. (I'm travelling with school) so I ended up waiting around, telling myself they'd retrace their steps. I got a snapchat message to the group saying where I was.

You're in Japan ?

I waited a little bit longer, but then I decided I needed to do something. I talked to the ladies working at the station and tried to find my hotel, but they didn't understand. So I tried to call my teacher, my friend and my mum but the calls immediately cancelled. I asked the ladies for the exit, but I didn't recognise the surroundings. I went back and tried to call on the train station phone, but wasn't sure how much money was required. I then noticed I had a keycard for my hotel. I showed them the card and they knew where it was!

I got the directions (had to go back because they were a little vague) and made my way back to the hotel alone. (Took about 3 mins)

TL;DR I got lost in a train station, managed to get back to my hotel by myself with the help of the lovely Japanese people. Arigatou ladies!!
