Anyhoo. I started watching New Girl and it's hilarious but I think it gets really racist at some points. Like I was watching this episode of Season 2 called Cabin in which Schmit helps Winston to be his blackest self. WTF? It was so cringey to watch. Also the episode called Table 34. I squirmed during that episode. So many racist things said and did towards Indian people.
And in one episode Schmit hatches a plan to get his Indian ex girlfriend back with the help help of her ex Robby and they both just spout racist things left and right towards Indians.
And then we can't forget about treating a brown woman as exotic creature. Seriously dude?
I mean, ok it's a hilarious show but damn That's a lot of racism and typical stereotyping and not helping in improving the culture of other people.
