Nah I mean, they're probably pissed you didn't tell them about your boy because you don't trust them or something, which although may be incorrect would be my assumption also as a friend. Although, I also don't tell my friends anything relationship related half because I don't trust them fully and mostly because I don't want to deal with the unnecessary drama and questions it brings so I get where you're coming from. I'd just tell them that you do trust them but not everything in your life needs to be public and you wanted to keep this secret close to you until you were ready because it's special but now that they know you're showing you're comfortable with them being involved in this part of your life.
