Who is Tobuscus? And where can I find him

youtube, he made the nugget in a buiscut song from the early 2000's
aparently he was accused of rape and it ruined his career, which sucks as if it hadn't happened, he would be challenging pwediepie in terms of subs right now.

yep, i honestly think the whole "believe women" thing is bullcrap.
while some women have been raped, some men have also been destroyed for rapes they didn't commit and it's a travesty to those innocent AND those who have been raped and are trying to have their rapists sent to prison.

I don't know. I used to watch him heaps when I was younger and thought he was great, of course that doesn't negate the fact he could have done it but it doesn't really add up to me. What does his ex gain from this accusation? Does it benefit her financially? Does she get revenge maybe? Or did it actually happen? I'm on the fence but my heart wants me to believe he didn't do it.

Tbh she sounds a bit emotionally unstable. Which doesn't mean it didn't happen, but just in that summary alone it says she had a panic attack over a tobuscus figurine in toys r us (and then tweeted about it) and she tried to commit suicide at some point.

I don't know tobuscus much at all. I watched a few of his videos way back when he did the old spice thing. As well as his autocorrect and password rants. I don't know this girl at all. Something about it never really sat quite right with me :s

When I was 13 or so, I watched Tobuscus religiously. Now, that means I must put aside my affinity towards him, and consider the possibility. I’ve watched the video explaining his perspective, and while it seems genuine, I just cannot say for certain.

What an interesting question. Do I believe that Tobuscus is a rapist? Huh? Well... we could make a list. On it we shall put a whole bunch of priests and teachers, fathers, uncles, brothers, sisters aunts and mothers. We can add friends and celebrities. We can add Bill Cosby and Roman Polanski. Because that’s sort of the thing isn’t it? A great deal of the time when someone is raped, casual acquaintances and even those intimately close to the person would say they would never believe it. Hell- you can provide evidence as iron clad as it comes and get a conviction to boot and still have people staunchly deny there is any way the person in question committed rape until the day they die. So I suppose- wether I believe he is a rapist is largely irrelevant. I didn’t know who they guy was until I saw this thread- he’s accused of rape. An investigation would either convict him or clear him in the matter. Until then and in abscence of sufficient evidence I believe he is accused of a crime.

see @guest_ thats the kind of thinking I like. he's not quilty until the evidence says he is and he shouldn't be treated as such. the thing is, he wasn't treated "innocent until proven quilty" he was slandered and harrased by people till he had to go off the grid completely. I don't believe he was given a fair chance at all.

It's very difficult in some ways. I know some people, even users on this site, who have dealt with these issues. The ones who committed the crimes were never prosecuted, but that doesn't mean they're not guilty of the crime, just that they haven't been found guilty in the eyes of the law as of yet.

For Toby part of what makes it difficult is they're both Internet personalities. I've HEARD, both when I originally looked into the incident and again in my brief stint into it now, that other woman have said Toby can be verbally abusive in the past and supposedly has had drug issues. But they've also stated that he was never physically abusive.

I know that the accuser has received a horrendous amount of backlash as a response to everything as well.

Either way, Toby is ruined no matter if he’s innocent or guilty, and if he is innocent, then he’s screwed either way. I don’t know, I’m not a lawyer or a judge, so I can’t tell you either wat

Females who make false rape accusations should be locked up for lying under oath.

I used to watch Toby a lot back in the day when mine craft was popular. His personality was a bit strange but that’s most YouTubers anyway

I used to watch him daily. I unsubscribed not because of the rape accusations, but because I out grew him. His videos stopped appealing to me and I now find him annoying. I still love his early stuff though

Personally I don't think he did anything but ive not really seen much about it, at most ive watched a 20 minute video on YouTube that talked about why he lost his career from an outside perspective. Apparently he's still posting stuff and going strong but he looks like hell and stressed as fuck.
Fun fact: Apparently his current girlfriend is a cam girl and a twitch streamer that is very popular is both regards so they are at least not having to worry about money.
