Ohk. So The Stanley Parable.
A great game. I have always loved short, clever games, mainly because I have a potato laptop, but that's a different story.
I had heard of it for a long time. I had played some game on my phone that were kinda clever and people were commenting that its like The Stanley Parable. (Btw, check out the game There is no Game on play store)
So yesterday my semester got over and I finally decided to play the game.
Got all the endings. It was amazing. It was goofy, sad, funny, happy. I loved it.
The BROOM CLOSET ENDING!!! LMAO!!
I am now so indulged in theories regarding The Stanley Parable. Who's Stanley? What happened to everyone? Why is everything okay, except for people? Is he in And in the dream ending the narrator also ddr

Is he in a simulation, etc. In the dream ending the narrator addresses a few of the questions.
It's so good.

And with The Beginner's Guide, I was looking for more games like The Stanley Parable and I downloaded it. It started off as a guy who's trying to help his friend by looking for meaning in his games, but turns out he needed them to keep himself sane. It gets really emotional and hard hitting towards the end. It's a game about dealing with loneliness and depression. Such a good game.
I love this one particular line.
I says, "I am fading and all I want to know is that I will be okay"

what i love about "the beginner's guide" is that even in the first map he finds meaning in the weird color blobs and the floating boxes even thought there just that: weird blobs of color and floating boxes. that also means that the lamp posts didn't actually represent coda wanting an ending, but davey wanting a meaning.

It was Davey who added the lamp posts in the games. He was so engrossed in finding meanings that he added meaning to them.
During The Tower it is revealed that Coda asks Davey to stop adding lamp posts to his games.
