My point is, if that robot (I love that thing, I've written essays on it), can get into a shoulder, it can get behind a clavicle. That should be a cake walk... and would reduce mal-practice by a 10,000 to 1 factor... and if necessary prove it can be done. So... yeah, I may be making my mom a cheap test subject, but I'm right.

especially if this is on an artery. Robot wins.

er... it's not an artery, near one.
But yeah, everything should be okay, thankfully.
Thank you for being here, my friends :)

Hey Funk! What do you think about the Phase 4 of MCU? I am thinking Phase 4 would be a little grounded with stand alone movies and villain of the week bad guys but it will lead to either Dark Avengers or Secret Wars.
WE NEED DOCTOR DOOM UP IN THIS BITCH!

Yoooo! Sorry, I just alived now. Do you play pokemon go @funkmasterrex?

@spookykink57 Now that they have the alternate timelines I think they might bring in Kang, which would be amazeballs. Secret Wars or Dark Avengers would also be awesome, as would Secret Invasion. Yes. We need Doom. He needs his own trilogy. Part 1, they describe everything that happened with Mephisto and his mom, Doom is in College with Reed, working on an interdenominational portal so he can go to Hell and get his mom's soul back, but Reed is interested in the Negative Zone, rift happens between them, Reed thwarts Doom's plan and he doesn't forgive him, vowing revenge before spending time with the monks, building his suit, and then taking his place as ruler of Latveria. I want them to paint Doom as the hero, and Reed as the villain during this part. Part 2 sees him decide to try magic so he goes back in time and trains under Merlyn, and eventually has to face off against Morgan Le Fay, completing his training. Part 3 sees him finally face off with Mephisto, but in doing so he puts the

Ooooh I like what you are thinking!

Seriously though, in the same way Thanos is convinced he's right, so is Doom, which is why you almost HAVE to introduce him as a hero first. They did it with Thanos in one movie, but Doom a top 5 villian of all time, across all literature, and Marvel's no. 1 villain. He deserves it. It also helps that in a lot of ways, he's SO much more of a sympathetic character than Thanos could ever be. Thanos is logical, but 100% a monster. Doom is totally an empathetic character.

I totally agree with that. Doom's my favourite villain. He got that sleek personality and sheer brilliance mixed with some world class villainy. I honestly would love to see a nice portrayal of him in MCU. And now that Marvel has X-Men and Fantastic 4, I have my fingers crossed!
funkmasterrex · 4 years ago
Yes. Agreed. BUT! You have to establish his motivations first.... hence the trilogy before he goes full on villain.... and none of the MCU humor. Almost like TDK trilogy in reverse. In part 2, you could also introduce the Sue Storm thing, so when she's with everyone trying to get him to stop in part 3, you have a reverse-Star lord thing at work. Also, part 1 should be called "Victor" as he isn't Doom yet, part 2 "Von", part 3, "Doom".
funkmasterrex · 4 years ago
Even the "Von" part plays nice.... as it means "from", which.... with the time travel shenanigans and Merlyn plays into it spectacularly.
funkmasterrex · 4 years ago
Oh, and in part 1 deal with The Thing tampering with the machine and scaring his face, but The Thing never telling anybody.
funkmasterrex · 4 years ago
OH SNAP.... also, if Avengers Tower does become the Baxter building, you could have Doom stumble upon some of Stark's Iron Legion designs, giving him rudimentary Doombots, then once he masters magic he embudes them and then you get full-blown Doombots.

So perfect.

Damn!!! The Trilogy would be perfectly named! But going the more serious route is kind of a tight rope. They need a good director for that who can change the signature style of Marvel and not make it seem like it's forced or something. Like how the snark/quips in some of the movies sometimes feels forced. And yes to Doombots!!

Yep
