I mean it’s everywhere, but not as much as it used to seem. It seemed like it was endless fur but I’m only finding some strands here and there
parisqeen · 4 years ago
Haha I know, I guess cause they would endlessly clean themselves or rub their fur on things. That's when you don't really mind the amount of mess they make.

@parisqueen thank you so much for talking to me. You don’t know how much it means to me

My condolences. I have lost 3 cats over the years, I know all too well the pain that follows the death of a companion. One of them, Chloe, was this sweet little thing. She was fine when I left for work, and when I had returned, she was cold and stiff. Kitty leukemia. The other two had to be put down due to stomach cancers. I still love then to this day with all my heart. If you need anything from here on, please don’t hesitate. We love you dearly.

@1_puma thank you so much. Im sorry for your losses as well. How did you heal from those? I don’t know really know what to do right now. I have two other cats but I feel like I’m cheating if I give them love right now haha. I don’t know, it doesn’t feel right without my kitty.

Time. It’s the only answer. Call me sensitive, but I still cry from time to time, even though it’s been 18 years (I’m 24), 9 years, and 7 years respectively.

@1_puma ok good I’m glad I’m not the only sensitive one haha. Thank you so much for replying

I agree with @1_puma, it takes awhile. My cat, she was only about 2 years old and died from a snake bite and it's been a few years but it still hurts thinking about her. I have a photo of her in my studio which is nice to look at and remind myself why I not only love her so much but my other animals. I understand that feeling of guilt but if you feel regret from not spending enough time with her (even though you did), try and spend more time with the others if you feel like it'll help. The last thing you want to do is accidentally neglect the rest of the pets you love.

*sigh* you’re definitely right, I will. The only thing that will heal this is time
parisqeen · 4 years ago
Sadly that's the truth, time and sharing memories if that helps. You feeling any better today?
jensensbooty · 4 years ago
I am. I’m just glad she isn’t annoyed by the other cats anymore, the other cats seem at peace, and we can focus our attention on the other cats. Pip was kind of a diva haha
parisqeen · 4 years ago
Hahaha that's good to hear, I love cats with spunk. My old cat was very similar, she always wanted to play or talk and the other pets just wanted to sleep.
jensensbooty · 4 years ago
Haha Pip just wanted to sleep but she would always come to us and chase off the other cats.
parisqeen · 4 years ago
Okay that's super cute, she was being protective of you
jensensbooty · 4 years ago
She was, but she was kind of a bitch to the other cats lol. My dad jokes that hate did her in because she had her attack after she jumped from the bed when the other cat came in. She was with my mom and my other cat wanted to be there too and Pip was really annoyed. The other kitty started to adjust herself away from Pip, next to my mom, and Pip got mad and she jumped down and then had her attack. She died after. She terrorized the other cats and was jealous. I have a photo of the first time she saw our second cat and she looks so mad haha
parisqeen · 4 years ago
Awww poor Pip, an jealous kitty. That's always the struggle when you introduce new pets to the household they have to sort our their own little hierarchy.
jensensbooty · 4 years ago
Yeah :/ the hierarchy was just Pip hating on the other cats lmao. It’s ok though. She’s no longer bothered
parisqeen · 4 years ago
Exactly, how you holding up? Have you got a locket for her fur yet?
jensensbooty · 4 years ago
I’m ok. Still down, it’s been a horrible week, with other things going on too. I haven’t, I think I’ll do something different, I don’t know what I’m gonna do yet thougu

Horrible things always seem to pile up rather then spreading themselves out it seems but I'm glad you're getting through. Hm, I guess it depends how you want to remember her so it's completely up to you, some people like photos or drawings and others don't like anything but the memories they have.
