That definitely makes sense. I was feeling bored and just meh yesterday and the first thing I went and did was open the fridge lol

I literally went to get a bowl and reflexively opened the fridge and closed it before realising what I was doing. That’s what inspired me. I am Newton

I think it’s more the fact that there’s food in the fridge. I don’t think consistency is as important

Consistency is important for classical conditioning but yeah, I guess you could say the same about the pantry. I just walk in and stare at the food when I'm bored.
