I'm gonna get this 2 channel amp and wire 4 ceiling speakers to it. The ceiling speakers have an impedance of 8 ohms can i connect the speakers in parallel to the amp?

ohp forgot the mention that the amp has a max impedance rating of 8 ohms

How many watts is the amp and what is the max wattage on each speaker?
cryoenthusiast · 4 years ago
20 watts for amp and 100 watts for speaker

You're wiring two speakers to each channel? If so, they'll be at a 4 ohm impedance and everybody will be running well within their specifications. It'll sound great.

Aw sweet, I got to that number but i wasn't sure about my math, thanks dude!

An update, so while i can daisy chain two speakers to one channel it has it's limits because the amp is small and cannot power two speakers at the same time with more gain. That's fine it doesn't have to be super loud. I think it is a defective amp because the right channel doesn't play and the left channel plays both channels? I'll include the link to the amp I got.

Welp i just realized that my phone was in mono which is why i thought the left channel played both.

Good work figuring out your phone was only putting out the left channel. How does everything sound now?
