I don't ever think things like blatant porn have a place on this site, especially without a filter. But the absolute last thing I want is for this website to turn into some politically correct hugbox as well. Not that I think that's what SuperDave has in mind

@xvarnah- I was just saying that you personally are very diligent in my experience in considering others when posting. With sufficient self regulation, any moderator regulation would only need be minimal. There’s dangers in over “NSFW”ing the site. It makes browsing more annoying if you have to click every post, and guests can’t see NSFW so if it went too far this would basically just become a member only site. Something I mention in the other thread I (accidentally) started is:

A standardized way to identify (in comments or title) WHY a post was marked NSFW is important. Otherwise it doesn’t matter.

Nudity, pornography, extreme/graphic violence etc will not be part of the site even with NSFW, we all need to do a better job on using the filter, we want more user and a bigger community, posts that we don’t want on the site that don’t qualify on the list above, need to be flagged at least (5) times before being removed, unless god or archangels identify it as absolute no, same for comments. We still want a place we’re we can put fun things even if that means taking it to the edge, let’s not take things personal here, if you get offended let’s deal with it and move on. Hopefully we’ll do a better job.

Yeah, I could definitely get behind this mission.

@SuperDave Do archangels get free invisible wings too, cuz well.... not saying anyone is lazy but... going from post to post on foot is pretty difficult, if you know what I'm talking about.

Tbh I think overall most of the non-bot users do a decent job trying to be aware and courteous. There's always bound to be missteps (deliberate or accidental). I think another issue is that sometimes people aren't sure if a post IS Nsfw, they post it, and then they have no way of changing the status of the post after the 10 minute editing window and then they're just stuck
