Best of luck my dude!! Also for making friends I'd suggest picking up a hobby that you can do with others like a book club or perhaps Dungeons and Dragons. It's an amazing way to meet people easily and they're usually really fun too. Once I started dnd I've met really epic people and had loads of fun. Heck I actually met my boyfriend at dnd!
I hope all goes well and don't lose hope if it doesn't
We're always here for you!!

[Also it doesn't have to be nerdy things like dnd or book club lol. It can literally be anything that draws your interest. I just know it's a really easy easy to meet some cool people and it helps add a bit of routine to your life which is usually nice]

Just for the record - I'm not saying don't use tinder. I'm just saying you're going to get a lot of misses, a lot of stupidity, some really special brands of self-entitlement, etc etc. Don't let it get you discouraged

@savage_demmigod, Oh snap me too! Was kinda out of nowhere and just recently. I haven't been this happy in ages.

@vulture_, Yeah definitely just go out to do something you like to do. See the people around and you'd be surprised how many people are actually looking your way. Was not expecting to meet anyone at DnD of all things.

I don't really have the self confidence to just walk up and start talking, I've been trying to help that by losing weight but progress has slowed down. I just keep losing less and less but I'm constantly exhausted. I also have some eye problems that cause me not to keep eye contact with other women which is a big game killer. I just feel like every person I meet is turned off from it and it makes me depressed which in return, I don't leave my house. I've been told that talking to a counselor or therapist would help but I really just don't know. Thanks for all the advice guys and gals.

Talking to a therapist is always a good option for any problem, it gives you an objective perspective and they help you work through problems slowly and usually from a pretty creative angle so it becomes easier for you too see success. Weight loss is a really tricky journey and I think it's great you're working on that if you think you need too, persistence is key and so is the way you do it. Make sure you're losing weight healthily, there's always going to be a point where progress seems a bit slower as your body is trying to work out what's going on. You will get to a point where you are happy with who you are, it does take time and a lot of work to reach that sometimes but we're all here to support you.

What the fuck. Grow up, wash your ass and put yourself out there. No app is going to find you love and friends. Go and volunteer, get a job, get some self worth and then others will come.

"Wash your ass" Hahaha That is hilarious. Anyways, @vulture_ eat healthy food, and exercise. I went to the gym and left with my arms nearly non-functional. I gained 10 pounds of muscle in a couple months. Make that decision to lose weight and make that decision every morning. The only thing holding you back is your mind. Control yourself and you will have what you want.

@adam44 thank you, I've been thinking about joining my local gym, I just have medical issues that I'm actively trying to fix and I plan on walking, jogging, and running everywhere I go. My eye issue stops me from driving so my next option for a mode of transport is a bicycle.
P.s. I'm a pretty clean person lol

How is tinder going?

I've got a couple matches here and there. Mostly women from Canada since I'm directly on the border lol.
