Am I the a*hole?

So I recently, and unexpectedly (my landlord gave me less than 24 hours notice that someone was moving in), had a roommate movie into my apartment, less than two weeks ago. I had enough toilet paper to last me until the end of May and into June. This chica didn't bring any with her when she moved in, and we're now out. Am I the jerk for not buying any (or at least not buying any to share) and making her buy the next package since she didn't bring any to start?

Nah man...you're not an asshole, during times like this people should be considerate and should bring her own before moving in, you also shared from your own so honestly she should buy for her and you as well....

She should bring her own stuff*

No I think that's reasonable, if you have decided you're going to share your necessities then I think it's totally fine to ask her to buy the next lot. I would set out some ground rules between the two of you if you don't like the amount she uses, maybe keep a pack for just yourself in your bedroom so you don't have to worry. Same with anything else you might share such as kitchen utensils or cleaning supplies.

Does her asshole run like a leaky faucet to necessitate her using all the toilet paper that was supposed to last you until somewhere into June? In just two weeks no less, even with you using alongside her it should've at least reasonably lasted until the end of the month.

Did she say anything? What was her response to that? Either way, you are not an asshole here, just a logical, reasonable person. But if she is unable to buy toilet paper right now, seeing as she just moved in and all, this might be a bonding moment. You guys can come up with a compromise or something. Also, I agree with @parisqueen, living with a roommate is fun, untill it isn't because there are no ground rules or no one is following the ground rules.

@tarotnathers13th goodness knows. I add almost two full rolls and they're already gone. A roll usually lasts me 3 weeks, because I buy the good tp and not the paper mache crap.
@spookykink58 I'm going to text her from work in a few hours to ask if she'll pick some up today. We just ran out yesterday. She should definitely be able to buy some. We live a block from a Kroger grocery store, and she has enough fast food and hair care products to last me a solid month.
I have my own tp now, cuz I got more when we went down to one roll. But honestly, in a shared bathroom she should be the next to buy

You shouldn’t have to stand for shitty (pun intended) behaviour. My roommates and I bought loads of TP at the beginning of the year (like 30 rolls each) and it lasted quite a while. The day we moved out though suddenly all my good TP went missing because my roommate thought it’d be a good idea to give our supply away to her friends. If I ever live on campus again I’m making sure I have my own bathroom. Those girls really made that idea clear to me.
