Be creepy if anyone actively following anyone (like what happened to guest)
I do come into chat to see what's news (update, ask,...) Not "I'm currently listening to" or whatsoever
creativedragonbaby · 3 years ago
That’s your problem then fam. Everyone else seems to be fine with it and we organised it for this chat. Problem solved already, no need to continue the salt

I’m sorry Bensen, funsubbers are a positive and close-knit community, and we welcome you. Please don’t be intimidated :)
Also, guys please remember bensen is a girl

I was about to make a sexist joke but it's a bad time for that
But alright, as long as it doesn't lead to some serious spamming
bensen · 3 years ago
Really sorry but I agreed to post one chat a day and on that day I just stick to that one
I don’t think I’m spamming I’m just sharing what I’m up to.
If you don’t like my posts you don’t have to click on them it’s not like I’m not letting anyone else post or anything you know
I’m now working on my Uncle John’s Trivia and The pursuit of factiness for a while and probably won’t post until I’ve finished it.
I’m pretty sensitive and I don’t really like being treated like this- I’m already only posting one thread a day and posting on it all day, not trying to intimidate anybody

Sorry if you feel like you're being treated like anything
Didnt mean for it to come out that way

Bruh
You sure didn’t try to be tactful about it....
Sorry bensen, I think you’ll find the funsub community very wholesome :)

I enjoyed our riddle discourse yesterday!
I'm a big fan of the Tin Pan Alley composers, and Ella's rendition of Cole Porter is great. May I give you a few tips?
By Jingo by Alfred von Tilzer and Lew Brown. I like this Billy Murray recording and the version from Skirts Ahoy:
George and Ira Gershwin had so many hits it's hard to just pick one, but today I'll go for By Strauss. There are several "fancy" versions but I think the best interpretation is in the 1951 An American in Paris, sung by Gene Kelly, Oscar Levant and Georges Guétary.
It is so charming, and always puts a smile on my face and brings a tear to my eye :-)

Why would I try to be tactful at all
creativedragonbaby · 3 years ago
To be polite and a decent person on the internet?
catfluff · 3 years ago
@rosalinas can't tell if you are being serious or not, but my mom's not great at being tactful and said a lot of things to me during my childhood that unfortunately stuck with me and caused great insecurity and pain. It might make no difference to you, but other people aren't you and may take things differently, so phrasing things with a lil more tact might make the world's difference in their lives.

I did not mean to be either tactful not mean
I was polite, that's as polite as it gets.
There is no reason to treat the person like a child,it's actually impolite to be overtactful and treat them with such unnecessary careness.
I rather be straightforward and treat them like everyone else.
Do you rather be treated like some type of creatures that's made of glass that one touch is all it take to break you? Or you rather be treated like an equal?
bensen · 3 years ago
An equal that’s treated as an equal (nicely)
rosalinas · 3 years ago
And there you have it
bensen · 3 years ago
? I didn’t mean to be rude to you, I’m sorry :/
rosalinas · 3 years ago
You weren't
And I didn't find you rude or anything, I truly did not

I think this chat summarizes FS.
