What about classic Disney versus modern Disney versus Pixar? Honestly I can’t decide I had a love them both dearly. And I just pretty much think of Pixar as Disney Movies. But I do miss old animation hand drawn cartoons.

Disney bought Pixar in 2006, so they're the same company now, just different divisions.
As for pre-purchase? I'd have to go with Disney. Hunchback, Lion King, Hercules, and Mulan beat out Toy Story and Bug's Life any day in my book.
