I decided 6 years ago to follow my dream of working with archaeology. Since then I've been studying part time while working at my normal job full time. It's been exhausting, but I've learned so much, and now I only have my thesis left until I have earned a Bachelor's degree in archaeology. I started out planning to just do qualified volunteer work, but... it looks like I might actually be able to move into this field.

And NOW I've been accepted to participate in a dig at a Mesolithic (c 3500 BCE) site on an island in the Baltic August 1-5! It's my first dig ever and I will FINALLY get my trowel dirty :-D I feel like my hard work is paying off and I am exhilarated! Just had to share with you guys <3

That's really cool, you worked your ass off for it but that's a really interesting field to go into, congratulations!
