FYI, I'm a man. And it was more of an anti-alpha-male-mentality joke. Well, a joke, in fact.

Fun Facts about Japan 21 comments
guest · 7 years ago
The person who did this could not find six famous and important people from Japan and felt compelled to add fucking Filthy Frank? Seriously? Where is Haruki Murakami, one of the best novelists of our time? Where is Takeshi Kitano, director of the masterpiece Sonatine and actor in Battle Royale? Hayao Miyazaki? Yoko Ono? Putting Filthy Frank is such a short list is an insult to Japan.

The saint of Science 24 comments
guest · 7 years ago
He denied the virginity of Mary, the sanctity of Jesus-Christ, the Trinity, the eternal damnation, and so on. He was not killed because of his scientific writings but because of the ideas he had and claimed out loud, and these ideas were mainly "Catholicism is a huge pile of bullshit". Not saying that it is an excuse (NOT AT ALL), but he was not a "martyr for science". And even if he had been, he would not have been the first.

Read the article linked by publius_cornelius_, especially the partial lyrics that are translated. It has quite something to do with Nazi Germany. You spoke way too quickly here.

Declaring war =/= being at war, so that it's reeeeeally hard to tell what counts as war. I think one of the broadest possible definitions of "being at war" has been taken here :)

Didn't Hitler want to go to art school?. 6 comments
guest · 7 years ago
Hitler wanted to go to art school, but was never admitted because his paintings, while technically kind of reasonable, were unimaginative as heck. Kind of the same here. Bush kind of knows how to paint, but is not talented nor imaginative in any way.

Other guest here. First result when I googled "Trump Christian refugees" : edition.cnn.com/2017/01/27/politics/trump-christian-refugees
There are a lot more sources to corroborate this.
Also, I live in Europe, and I don't know what is this "shit going on in Europe with their refugees". It's a logistical nightmare, but refugees have all the reasons to be loyal and respectful to the country and continent that welcomed them. It's also an economical disaster for our countries, but only for a few years. One dollar invested in a migrant will be given back to the host country fifteen- to fourty-fold, according to various economic studies. In five years, the first mass wave of Syrian and Iraqi refugees will be an integral part of our workforce, and not only in manual labor. They will live in our countries, work in them, pay their taxes, buy local. From a strictly economical point of view, it's a short-term secure investment.

Actually, his parents were going to have a fine to pay if they did not declare a name for their child (it was in 1996, by the way; he was already 5). They tried to name him Brfxxccxx... and it was declined. Then, they tried to name him A, stating it was pronounced Albin, and it was declined too.
...I don't get their point.

Most of these "limits" are actally the values of the function. This could have been way more difficult by only writing limits on the endpoints of open intervals on which the functions are defined. <sadistinc mathematician out>
