Actually, I found that purchasing a $200 purse (at a store carrying name brands for less - I got the $200 purse for $100) has served me very well. This purse (which is the only purse I use) is still going strong after 3 years, whereas when I bought less expensive purses, they fell apart far too easily. I would have to replace them much more frequently.
