I also have a Goldendoodle. She is 75% Red Poodle and 25% Golden Retriever. Knows about 12 words and has no short term memory. She goes outside to pee, forgets what room I am in, and has to search the whole house. Other than no shedding she got none of the good traits from either breed! However, she has all the energy of a puppy and is sweet as could be. Seems like she will live forever but that will not happen I am afraid.

I have a 88 lb Standard Poodle. He is very gentle but walks right up to people to say Hi and some people are leary, as they should be. My FedEx driver was leary of my guy and told me there are two Poodle in the rural end of town that are aggressive. If they are not penned up he will not deliver there. There is a big Poodle at our dog park that is damn aggressive also. The owners won't stop bringing him to the park but should.
