well the part where i had to look up to find out if you were the same guest trying to mock me, or a level headed guest mocking first guest was a bit of an ass. but i dare say my life is pretty great, and you should stop being a baby and acting like looking attractive is a hardship in dating. cuz its not.

either something is a bad word or its not, saying its a bad word for one group and not for another is only a small part of a large spectrum of inconsistencies that will perpetuate racism. plus you'll find different types of people use the word regularly than the types who don't, and outside of getting some big break in the media world, one type is far more likely to go places than the other.

this is why this is one the worst "politically correct" terms we have, because it is so so incorrect. so many black people, even american black people, are anything but african american, i see it so much here in florida since we have a large population from islands. i hear people toss off the concern with something like "but their ancestors where from africa" but if we gunna talk about who people descend from then we're ALL freaking african americans....

stereotypes exist because some people act that way, so if someone wants to act like a stereotype its not really a problem, the problem is expecting people to be like stereotypes.

the whole point of a up/down vote is to express and opinion without being forced into an actual debate about it. there really is no purpose in arguing something you know your mind is not going to change on, and you know the other persons mind is not going to change on.

i think the best way to understand is to imagine being who you are and pretending your body is the opposite gender and ponder all the daily implications.

i've heard people refer to any and all black people as african american. people i know and love as part of my close circle.
