He was convicted of the crime and technically serving some sort of punishment with 10 years probation, however his punishment now compared to his crime, makes it seem like the crime was just a big understatement. He definitely deserves time in prison, but you can't entirely say he's above the law when he was in fact convicted and given some sort of punishment. He could easily go to jail if he slips up on his probation, which could be very likely given it lasts 10 years.

I watched the video of Anderson cooper and the lawyer. Bases on what cooper said, it sounds like a vacation.
