As the father of a 16 year old boy

I'm 16 and still say this to my mum every night.

I tell my mom and grandmother "I love you" every night, before we leave each other, and getting off the phone. I'm 18.

I hug my mom every night and every night she has to pry me off of her. like a boa constrictor

I say this to my parents, family, and friends every night/everytime I have to leave to go somewhere or they do. That way if something happens they know that I love them. I have two older sisters and my sister's best friend passed away several years ago in a car wreck. I want if something happens to me or them they'll always know that I loved them no matter what.
