Hmm the thing is, duck face started as girls trying to make their cheeks look thinner. Albeit they looked stupid, they looked thin whilst doing it.
Other alternatives are sticking out your tongue, but that got old quickly. Boy do I regret my many pics of me with my tongue out!
But this, this doesn't make them look slimmer or any more attractive in anyway. It's just silly.

Exactly. Anything's better than the duck face phase.
I find that most teenagers don't actually do this sort of thing because the younger ones think the older ones do it and when kids start to do stuff it's not really cool to do anymore
I'm a thirteen-year-old girl and there's nothing I hate more than when my friends take selfies. I mean, do they ever get tired of looking at their face? Do they?
Why does making faces like this bother you people so much? These are just kids taking what they think are fun pictures with friends. They aren't just going to smile in every picture they take even if that looks better! It doesn't affect you at all, if these girls want to make faces and take photos of it, they should be able to without having their Instagram posts screen shotted and shared all over the internet to be laughed at!
