thats......kinda how any business works. You dont hire an employee for 50k and only expect them to generate 25k for the business, you'd go out of business fairly quickly that way.

That's exactly what I was thinking...I mean, yes there are R&D workers that usually don't generate direct profit or at least not right away, but the business plan would be written accordingly to account for prospected profits or losses in these departments.
