I meant that in the less literal sense. There have just been a lot of jabs at Americans lately, my knickers weren't in a twist I was just curious. I think there were other posts along the same line as this on the same page this was on.
So they're lumping the queen into the same category as Hitler and Stalin? Hell, the US fighting for one of the more innocent reasons when you look at the other groups.
It seems like it`s ok for Americans to make jokes about every other country. But when someone makes a joke about their country, they get really mad and call it hate...
The fuck are you talking about it's vice versa. Someone insults america they don't like it or care, an american insults another country they don't like it or don't care.
Sheesh. If the reference to calling it hate is because of my comment up above, I apologize for using a term loosely. I can take a joke, and don't tend to spout off about how great my country is. I was just taken aback at how many cracks there's been about the US lately on here.
Some people will use any excuse to spew their anger, especially when they can do it from behind their computer or phone. I promise I didn't intend to come across as aggressive! FS is my happy place, I really did just mean to point out what I perceived as a fairly recent increase in posts of this nature. And since I'm in the US I don't see how the media portrays us elsewhere, so I asked if we'd done something that I'm not aware of.

This is pretty funny, but those aren't the best examples. Each of the first three are just shouting the name of their leader they're blindly following, who also wants the resources of the country being invaded.
